Primary High Notes 14th May
I continue to be bowled over by the quality and high standard of work that all our pupils have been producing. I have heard from many proud primary staff who have shared some of these wonderful pieces.
It is wonderful to see such creativity, imagination, curiosity and love of learning from our pupils. This success is due to the combined efforts of our dedicated staff and our supportive parents, ensuring that the children are achieving impressive strides in their learning.
Primary Leaf Challenge
Well done to all the children who sent in their leaf collage. Miss Stirland really enjoyed seeing you all be so creative with nature whilst going out and getting daily exercise in the fresh air.
Sport Milage Challenge
Congratulations to Alice and Victoria in Year 4 for achieving the bronze award in the Sports Mileage Challenge. They both covered 50 miles each. It was a tough challenge, with all the other entrants from our Senior school. Well done Alice and Victoria, this is an amazing achievement.
50th Anniversary Celebration of the Etwall Well Dressing
Eva (Year 2) and Berenice (Wrens) have been working on some traditional well dressing activities as part of the 50th anniversary celebration of the Etwall well dressings. Year 2's current topic is 'To Infinity and Beyond' and Eva has cleverly designed her well dressing to link with her school topic work. Well done Eva and Berenice.
